I've edited video for 6 years, in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, for early-stage founders across short-form and long-form content. I work with footage clients have already shot — I don't film myself, and I say so clearly upfront. For short clips I focus on holding attention in the first three seconds; for long videos I'm not afraid to cut slow stretches. I don't do complex motion graphics from scratch — for that I recommend a motion designer. A clip under 3 minutes usually takes 2-3 working days.
