I work full-stack — Next.js frontend, Node.js/PostgreSQL backend — for local agencies that need a working MVP in a reasonable timeframe rather than a perfect architecture nobody will maintain in a year. I've done this for 6 years, and I discuss real scale with the client upfront so we don't over-engineer for a hundred users we don't have yet. I set up deployment, auth, and payments through existing services rather than building everything from scratch. I don't take on projects that need a team of three or more at once — I say so honestly during the brief.
